Rose Castro-Bran, who has been the museum curator of California’s Point Hueneme Lighthouse for over a decade, has used her extensive knowledge to put together a first class book about six of Los Angeles California’s historic lighthouses, plus an additional chapter on the Lions Lighthouse for Sight. The book is well written and designed with informative text and a great blend of color photos as well as historic images. The soft cover book, with its 132 pages, is packed with a lot of history that many people are unaware of; a book that should be in the possession of anyone interested in lighthouses. It is available as item #2171 for $21.99 plus shipping from Lighthouse Digest, PO Box 250, East Machias, ME 04630. Or you can call 207-259-2121 or order it on-line at www.LighthouseDigest.com.
