The Chesapeake Sea Food House in Islamorada, Florida billed itself as “A fascinating collection of curios and memorabilia from the corners of the globe in ‘The Sea Food House That Quality Built.’” One thing was for certain – it had a well-built lighthouse facsimile.
Although the restaurant was heavily damaged by Hurricane Donna in 1960 and was rebuilt at the time, sadly, it no longer stands today.
