The Bristol Ferry Lighthouse, under the Mt. Hope Bridge, on Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island is for sale.

The lighthouse was totally restored and updated in 1992 by Carol and Robert Lundin.

When the Mount Hope Bridge was built in 1928-29, its northern end covered and replaced the lighthouse as an aid to navigation. Built in 1855, the lighthouse is nearly hidden beneath the bridge to everyone but boaters and shore fishermen. If you were one of the lucky ones to make it on the American Lighthouse Foundation cruise this past June you would have seen and been able to photograph the lighthouse.

The lighthouse offers panoramic views of Narraganset and Mt. Hope Bays and is surrounded by lovingly tended gardens.

Asking price is $469,000. It is offered through Harper, Ramos, & Sheridan Real Estate, 336 Hope St., Bristol, RI 02809-2000. Their phone number is 401-253-2323.
