Timothy Harrison, Editor of Lighthouse Digest, has been honored by the National Lighthouse Museum in Staten Island, New York with its 2018 Modern Day Light Keeper Award.
Harrison was honored for his 27 years of work in publishing, writing, and researching lighthouse history, as well his extensive involvement in numerous lighthouse preservation projects and cofounding lighthouse preservation groups.
At the same time he was also given separate Certificate of Merits from the New York State Assembly and the New York City Council.
Harrison said he was grateful and humbled by the honor and wished to thank those, who for the past 27 years, have helped to make it all possible.
