Michigan's beautiful Grand Island East Channel Light is in danger of being lost forever. The lighthouse's foundation is now seriously threatened by erosion and structural deterioration to the point where it is believed to be near collapse.

The elements, neglect, and even vandals, have taken their toll on this historic old beacon. Ten years ago some significant efforts were made to protect the structure; however, nothing has been done since then.

As an extra incentive, the American Lighthouse Foundation will match, dollar for dollar, the first twenty-five hundred dollars that is received.

To help save this lighthouse before it is too late, please send your donation to: American Lighthouse Foundation, East Channel Lighthouse Fund, P.O. Box 889, Wells, Maine 04090.

Please help before it is too late! The only way to save this light is through your efforts.
