These patches were donated to us by Eric Silvi of Painesville, Ohio. Eric once worked as a part time police officer for the Fairport Harbor Police Depot and the lighthouse shown is the Fairport Lighthouse.

The Mardi Gras patch, also of the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse, was designed by Eric's father, Edward L. Silvi Sr. It was given to all the Boy Scouts who marched in the Fairport Mardi Gras Parade (a local celebration) in July of 1970.

These patches will be proudly displayed in the Lighthouse Digest patch collection. If you have a patch that you would like to donate, send to Tim Harrison, Lighthouse Digest, P.O. Box 250, East Machias, ME 04630.
