Former U.S. Lightship Sailors met last year in Quincy, MA to form the Lightship Sailors Association. Crewmen and many of their wives travelled from as far away as California to renew friendships and conduct their first business meeting.

Twenty-five crewmen were present including former commanding officers, Bob Collins, Jim Gill, Norman Lemoine, and Norman Rogers. Lightship 612, Nantucket located at Marina Bay Marina, Quincy, MA hosted shipmates for much of the weekend.

The second annual meeting will take place at Baltimore Inner Harbor, however the exact date and location is yet to be determined. Lightship 116, Chesapeake will play an important part of the meeting. For membership information call 1-407-779-0790 or e-mail - bosunlocker@castlegate.net
