After a 14,000-pound buoy washed up on the beach on Nantucket, Massachusetts, a CH-47F Chinook helicopter from the 2nd Battalion, 104th Aviation Regiment of the Connecticut Army National Guard was called in to lift the buoy off the beach and bring it back to its correct location. It is shown here going past the endangered Great Point Lighthouse on Nantucket, Massachusetts, on June 1, 2022. The buoy was then lowered into the water where the crew from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Oak (WLB-211) could properly secure it. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Matthew Lucibello)
