Salute to the Coast Guard: Baker’s Island

During a recent solarization project at Massachusetts’ Baker’s Island Lighthouse, the United States Coast Guard also completed aesthetic modifications to the historic sound signal building. This included the removing the brick from the sealed up windows and replacing them with glass and removing the fog signal from the roof of the building and placing it on an adjacent concrete pad.
