Spud Roscoe writes: "This is one I took from the old number one highway of the Gilbert's Cove Lighthouse on May 2, 2006. The tide was out and the dirt in the foreground is all that is left of the old Gilbert's Cove wharf. The Melanson family had a number of small ships using that wharf over the years, especially between World War I and World War II."
