Directions:
Thanks to John Kulpa and Bill Edwards for these directions: Take Interstate 81 to Exit 31; go west on Bartel Rd. to US 11; take US 11 north through Brewerton, over the river/canal; turn west on county rt. 37; just past the railroad tracks it is visible from the road on the southside. It is off on your left, about 50 yards from the water in a mosquito infested overgrown swampy area. Both sets of gates are locked (September 2002) and the area is fenced in, so somebody is in charge of the area. You no longer can walk up to it, but it is fully visible from the gate/ fence. There is no vegetation growth in front of it, so not even the base is obscured.
