Notes: From 1907 to the 1990s, this light was the front light of a range with Oka Light (now destroyed). Since 1998, Pointe aux Anglais Light has been owned and maintained by a local sailing club, the Club de Voile des Laurentides. Tower Height: 22 Height of Focal Plane: 36 Characteristic and Range: Isophase red 2 s (1 second on, 1 second off), visible for 5 miles. Description of Tower: White, square concrete tower on a pier.

Earlier Towers? 1873: White, square wooden tower with a red-roofed lantern, 27 feet tall, on a pier. 1936: Lanterns on top of two cylindrical steel tanks, focal plane height of 33 feet. 1970s: Two white circular towers on a pier, each 16 feet tall. Date Established: 1873 Date Present Tower Built: 1987? Current Use: Active aid to navigation.
