Notes:
Point Fermin Lighthouse is located in a 37-acre public park. A light in a shack, then a light in a pole, replaced the lighthouse as an aid to navigation. The lantern was removed, but a new replica lantern was later created. A major restoration of the lighthouse was completed in 2003.

Museum?
The lighthouse is now operated as a museum by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks with the support of the Point Fermin Lighthouse Society, a chapter of the U.S. Lighthouse Society. The lighthouse is open for tours on Sundays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are plans to expand the hours in the future.

Directions:
From the north, take CA 110 South; it becomes I-110 S. Turn left onto N. Gaffney Street and follow to its end at Point Fermin Park.
