Notes:
This is a replica of the original 1866 Roanoke River Lighthouse, which was destroyed by ice in 1886. The 1887 lighthouse was later moved to shore and still stands in Edenton.

Description of Tower: Lantern atop 1 1/2 story wood frame keeper's quarters, mounted on steel pilings.

This light is not operational

Current Use: Museum.

Summer hours:  11-3 Tuesday-Saturday, and 1-4 on Sunday. 

Directions:
The lighthouse replica is off US 64 in downtown Plymouth, at the west end of Water Street.
