Notes:
This lighthouse is located about midway on the North Pier; its companion, the St. Joseph North Pierhead Outer Light, is at the end of the pier. The two are connected by a catwalk. This lighthouse was honored on a U.S. Postage stamp in 1995.

Description of Tower: White, octagonal cast iron tower on top of fog signal building.

Date Established: 1832

Date Present Tower Built: 1907

Optics: 1907: Fourth order Fresnel lens was removed in 2012 to the Heritage Museum and Cultural Center for restoration.

Fog Signal: 1907: Diaphone horn.

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Open To Public? Grounds only.

Directions:
The North Pier and lighthouses are adjacent to Tiscornia City Park in Benton Harbor.
