The Redfish Bar Cut Lighthouse was built in 1900 and lasted until 1936. It was here that George R. Smith served as the lighthouse keeper. Barely visible in the distance is the old Red Fish Bar Lighthouse that had been built in 1868 and stood until 1915 when it was destroyed in a storm.
