Passage Island Lighthouse on Lake Superior, Michigan as it appeared around 1910 on a vintage post card. The person who sent this post card indicated that this was the last lighthouse they visited and the fog was as thick as rain. The person wrote that they brought a box of berries and flowers from the island. If you look closely you will notice a number of people posing in front of the buildings. Two men appear to be in lighthouse keeper uniforms. The large smoke stacks protruding from the fog signal building were gone by the 1930s. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
