Frank Langlois was a friend to all children. There are many photos of him holding kids or being around them. In a newspaper obituary, it stated he “was beloved by all children with whom he came in contact.” He used to give out treats, and upon his death, “the greatest pathos was experienced by the family when small children would offer as a token a bedraggled bouquet for the ‘candy or gum man.’” (Courtesy Tom and Becky Pemberton.)
