Photo Caption:
A view of the first Cape Arago Lighthouse, Oregon as seen in 1897. This lighthouse at Cape Arago, or Cape Gregory as it was first called, was built in 1866 and housed a 4th order lens. Frank Langlois served here as an assistant in 1874 for a year and possibly longer. During his tenure, Frank helped host tourists who looked upon visiting the lighthouse as an adventure.
