Frank S. Huntington, who served as a lighthouse keeper at the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse in Fairport, Ohio from 1926 to 1927, and keeper of the Presque Isle Lighthouse in Presque Isle, Pennsylvania from 1927 to 1944, is shown here on the lantern deck at Presque Isle Lighthouse. He and his wife Ruth raised five children at the lighthouses: Stanley, Donald, Helen, William, and Betty. All recalled good memories of lighthouse life. Interestingly, as well as being a lighthouse keeper, Frank Huntington was also a Deputy Sheriff of Erie County (Courtesy Bruce Huntington.)
