This second lighthouse at Ediz Hook was constructed in 1908 and was a fog-signal building with an attached lighthouse tower. It was designed by famed architect Carl Leick who did 35 lighthouses in the district throughout Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. This particular design was also used in constructing Cape Arago and Mukilteo lighthouses. (Courtesy U.S. Lighthouse Society.)
