Rear Admiral David Pekoske, Commander, First Coast Guard District with former lighthouse keeper Paul Baptiste and his wife Helen in 2005 at the Grand Opening of Lighthouse Museum of History in Wells, Maine. The museum, founded by Timothy Harrison, for the American Lighthouse Foundation, was later merged with the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, Maine. Helen Baptiste passed away in 2013. In August of 2017, Admiral Pekoske was sworn in as the Administrator of the Transportation Administration (TSA), only the seventh person to hold that position. (Lighthouse Digest photo)
