William H. C. Dodge served as a Maine lighthouse keeper from 1902 to 1934. He was born in Stonington, Maine on August 4, 1867 and died on May 5, 1947 in Islesboro, Maine. He was buried in the McKinley Cemetery in Tremont, Maine. He lived at the lighthouses with his wife Lucy and nephew Kaspar Murphy. Sadly, we have not been able to find a photo of his wife Lucy or a close-up photo of Kaspar Murphy. (Lighthouse Digest archives.) Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2019
