Alex Sneddon, keeper at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in 1952. He was highly decorated for his Coast Guard service in Vietnam as part of Operation Market Time. Born on October 28, 1929, Alex Sneddon died on August 24, 2004 and was buried in the Calverton National Cemetery in Riverhead, Long Island, New York. Back to the edition of: Sep/Oct 2019
