Photo Caption:

In 1985, a college student showed up at the Cape Neddick Lighthouse in York, Maine asking for permission and access to do a photo essay. The photographer sent copies of some of his photos to Bob French shortly thereafter. This image he took shows the close-up detail of the fixed 4th order Fresnel lens in the lantern room.
