Thomas Joseph, who was the last lighthouse keeper to serve at Horseshoe Reef Lighthouse, is shown standing on the outer deck of the lighthouse. Thomas Joseph was the 1st assistant keeper from May 1, 190a2 to April 24, 1903 when he was promoted to head keeper.
