In 1978, when the Wyeths bought Tenants Harbor Lighthouse, Betsy found the keeper’s plaque in the basement. She renewed it and added the wreath to the top before hanging it at the top of the stairs in the keeper’s house. It is unknown who first created it, but there are photos of it hanging outside at one point. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2022
