Photo Caption:

Although this image was made from a photo copy of a photo copy and the image is very poor, we are publishing it because it is the only image known of lighthouse keeper Joseph Dunson and his son Ray, who are both wearing their hats with the emblem of the United States Lighthouse Service. The location of the original photograph is unknown. In the back row (left to right) are Mrs. Joseph Dunson, Ray E. Dunson, Katie Dunson, Sara Vincent Poor, and John Sumner Poor. In the front row, (left to right) is Mary Dunson, who later in life, at age 83 recorded the family memories; lighthouse keeper Joseph Dunson; and Ruth Dunson. Grandma and Grandpa Poor had travelled from Nebraska to visit their daughter, Katie Dunson, at the lighthouse. (Courtesy Barbara Dunson.)
