This vintage view of Burnt Coat Harbor Lighthouse shows the boat house and the stations dory. If you look closely, you will also see a small building that was the outhouse. This image also shows the attached enclosed walkway from the house to the tower. It was from here that Bernard’s family would launch the boat to go fishing and for island excursions to pick raspberries. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
