Photo Caption:
Captain Bacon was sure he had seen the yellow glow from Maine’s Portland Breakwater Lighthouse as is depicted in this beautiful vintage nighttime post card of the lighthouse. It is also known as Bug Light. The keeper’s house no longer stands, but the tower is still there. The breakwater is gone, having been filled in. Today the area is known as Bug Light Park.
