Maine’s Two Bush Island Lighthouse from a photo taken by lighthouse keeper Fred C. Batty. In a total disregard for historic preservation, in the 1970, the government allowed the Green Berets to blow up the beautiful keeper’s house in a demolition exercise. The tower still stands.
