The launching of the U.S. Revenue Cutter Gresham in Cleveland, OH, in September 1896. Pierre Albert Nadeau served on this ship 1913-1919. The Gresham enforced neutrality laws before the U.S. entered World War I and served as a convoy escort after the U.S. entered the war. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
