Waugoshance Lighthouse, Michigan is on the Lighthouse Digest Doomsday List of Endangered Lighthouses. After being placed on the National Register of Historic Places, it was literally forgotten. The lighthouse is in a state of near collapse. For safety reasons, the Coast Guard wants to tear the tower down. There is no group available with the necessary funds to save this lighthouse.
