*Photo Caption:*		Henry McLaughlin was the first man to serve as Keeper at Grand Harbor Lighthouse. Before Grand Harbour, he had been a lighthouse keeper at the famous Gannet Rock Lighthouse and Head Harbour Light. When he retired at age 62, in October 1883, he had been a lighthouse keeper for 40 years. Back to the edition of: May 1999
