Adding a little humor to the ceremony at the grand opening of the Museum of Lighthouse History, Timothy Harrison (l), who also serves as the Regent Lord Master of the Republic of Boon Island, appoints Rear Admiral David Pekoske as the first commandant of the newly created Coast Guard of the Republic of Boon Island. Harrison said, “This appointment now makes Admiral Pekoske the only United States Coast Guard admiral to be an admiral in the Coast Guard of two separate nations.”
