*Photo Caption:*		The USS Chicago, as depicted here from the Aprils 26, 1893 edition of the New York Herald, was one of the many ships on hand in the harbor for the great ceremonies at the Twin Lights of Navesink in Highlands, NJ. As a flagship, it was the pride of the U.S. Navy. The 342 foot long ship carried a 33 officers and 376 enlisted men. It was decommissioned at Pearl Harbor on Sept. 30, 1923 and sank in July of 1936.
