Win a Helicopter Lighthouse Tour

Comments?

Wow, talk about a neat prize, this sounds like the ultimate lighthouse raffle prize.

The Friends of Flying Santa of the lighthouses is offering one lucky winner the opportunity to win an aerial tour by helicopter of six southern Massachusetts lighthouses, including, Minot’s Light, Boston Light, Graves Light, Scituate Light, Duxbury Pier Light and Plymouth Light.

The Friends of Flying Santa is a non-profit group dedicated to keeping alive the tradition of Bill Wincapaw and Edward Rowe Snow who delivered Christmas gifts to most of New England’s remote lighthouses every Christmas.

Tickets, which are $2.00 each or a book of six for $10.00, can be obtained by writing to the Friends of Flying Santa, P.O. Box 791, Hull, MA 02045-0791

The public drawing for the winner will be held on October 8, 2001 at the conclusion of the Flying Santa Columbus Day Lighthouse Cruise. Arrangements then will be made for a date and time in October for the winner’s personal lighthouse helicopter tour, which will start, and end at the Plymouth, MA airport.
