The lighthouse community in Maine will miss CWO Preston Logan of ANT Southwest Harbor. Preston, a true lighthouse aficionado, was transferred to Philadelphia. Preston took a keen interest in Maine’s lighthouse history and spent much of his free time researching and learning about Fresnel lenses at the Shore Village Lighthouse Museum in Rockland. He made many friends in the lighthouse community in Maine. Taking his place is Chief Boatswain mate, Kenneth C. Hill from ANT Key West.
