Big Dates Arriving Soon

Comments?

August 7 - National Lighthouse Day in the U.S.

August 18 - International Lighthouse Day

Be sure to tell your favorite store, restaurant, or other business to do something special on these days to promote lighthouses and draw public attention to them. Places of business can display lighthouse posters, signs, have a lighthouse brunch, name a sandwich after a lighthouse, sell raffle tickets to help your favorite lighthouse, have a lighthouse garage or yard sale to raise money for lighthouses. Business could donate a percentage of their sales on that day toward lighthouse preservation. Be creative, there are hundreds of things you and everyone can do to spread the word. The operative words are GET INVOLVED, only you can make a difference.
