Isle au Haut Starts Campaign to Save Its Lighthouse

Comments?

The small island community of Isle au Haut, Maine needs to raise $75,000 to restore the Robinson Point Lighthouse. This is a huge goal for a community that has only a few dozen families.

The town has stated that 100% of all money donated will be tax deductible and all funds will be used to restore the lighthouse. No money will be used for administrative purposes.

In appreciation of support they are offering the following:

Every gift will be personally acknowledged

All gifts of $100 or more will receive an 8x10 matted print of the lighthouse

All gifts of $500 or more will receive a reproduction of the 1906 architectural drawing, showing elevation and sectional views which also shows the bell tower and interior staircase of the tower printed on quality paper and shipped rolled in a tube.

All gifts of $1000 or more will receive a dinner for two at the island's inn plus the 8x10 matted print and the architectural drawings.

Donations can be sent to the Isle au Haut Lighthouse Fund, P.O. Box 41A, Isle au Haut, Maine 04645.
