New Hampshire based Yankee Magazine has announced a new program under its Community Partners plan to help save the lighthouse history of New England.

The magazine, one of the largest non-news magazines in the country has joined forces with the non profit New England Lighthouse Foundation to help its cause.

Yankee Magazine has offered to donate $10.00 from every $20.00 one year subscription, (which is normally $24.00) to the New England Lighthouse Foundation in its goals to save lighthouses and their history. Plus Yankee Magazine will send all new subscribers under this program a free copy of Yankee's New England Supper Cookbook and savings certificates for New England travel and products.

However, subscriptions or gift subscriptions must be mailed to Yankee on the special subscription form which is only available through the New England Lighthouse Foundation or Lighthouse Digest.

To help foster this project, this past December, Lighthouse Depot Catalog included the special application form in all packages sent to mail order customers.
