Darlene Chisholm of Albion, Michigan recently donated a lighted Beacon Shoe sign to the Museum of Lighthouse History in Wells, Maine. The sign will go on display in the museum with a number of other artifacts that the museum has acquired about the old Beacon Shoe Co.

The Museum of Lighthouse History has an extensive collection of advertising items showing how lighthouses were used over the years to advertise and help promote various products.
