Pokesudie Island Lighthouse, built in 1881 near Caraquet, New Brunswick, is a nearly forgotten lighthouse, seemingly lost in the pages of time. However, thanks to Roger and Guylaine Chiasson, who have shared these photographs with us, we are able to show the lighthouse in happier times with a family enjoying a summer day at the lighthouse. The other image shows the lighthouse as it was being demolished in 1960.
