Lighthouse Digest subscribers Steve and Teri Sheeley of St. Cloud, Minnesota recently completed a 2,100 mile lighthouse tour of mostly Lake Michigan lighthouses. Luckily their tour was at the same time there was an open house at Round Island Lighthouse, which required three different boats to get to the island lighthouse. This was one of the highlights of their trip.

The lighthouse is viewed by the tens of thousands of tourists who take the ferry boats from Mackinaw City, Michigan, to historic Mackinac Island.
