The Manistee North Pierhead Lighthouse will soon be owned by the people of Manistee, Michigan. The Manistee City Council recently voted to seek ownership of the structure under the National Historical Lighthouse Preservation Act. We congratulate the Manistee City Council for stepping forward to take ownership.
