Canada’s Bear River Lighthouse on Winchester Point, at the entrance to the western side of the Bear River in Nova Scotia, will soon be owned by the Municipality of Digby. The lighthouse will continue to be managed by the Bear River Lighthouse Society that now plans to open the lighthouse to the public. (Photograph by Bob Crawford.)
