Old photos taken at lighthouses continue to surface, however, in many cases, little, if anything is known about the people in the photo. All we know about these people is that their last name is “Weeks” and the photo was taken on the steps of the Mayo Beach Lighthouse in Massachusetts while it was still a light station. Since the Mayo Beach Lighthouse was discontinued in the 1920s, and its tower was moved to California where it became the Point Montara Lighthouse, we can only assume the photo was taken in the early 1900s. If any of our readers can used their detective skills, we’d love to know more about these people. Mayo Beach Lighthouse is also referred to under several others spellings; Mayos Beach and Mayo’s Beach. (Photos courtesy of Bob Flanders.)
