Lions Club Joins Fight to Save Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse

The Rockland Lions Club has joined the American/New England Lighthouse Foundation by becoming the local fund raising agent to raise funds for the restoration of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse in Rockland, Maine. The official name of the group, which is a chapter of the American/New England Lighthouse Foundation, is called The Friends of Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. They need to raise an estimated $250,000 to save the lighthouse.

The group is selling a really neat Diner Coffee Mug featuring Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse on one side and the words "I helped save the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse" on the other side. The mug is available from the group for $10.00 plus $4.00 shipping. They are also selling one of the neatest sweatshirts we have ever seen, that features the Breakwater Lighthouse. The sweatshirt is available in sizes M, L, XL and XXL for $35.00 plus $4.00 shipping. All donations to the group are tax deductible.
