Rhode Island’s Castle Hill Lighthouse was recently given a power wash to clean off the grunge. Located in Newport, Rhode Island, the 1890 tower was built on the edge of the waterfront at the east passage of Narragansett Bay. It was automated in 1957. (Photograph by Duncan G. Todd, captain of the sailing yacht Heritage, who also owns Duncan G. Todd Design and Photography. To learn more about the Heritage go to www.12MeterCharters.com.)
