Quirky post cards like this were extremely popular in the mid-20th Century, especially in Florida. Although the lighthouse image is somewhat lame, post cards like this fall into various categories of collecting, including comical and Americana. By today’s standards it may not be politically correct, but no one can deny the colorful artwork of the era.
